National Award winner for Ghoomar song of Padmaavat film, Jyothi D Tommaar belongs to a big Uttarakhand family. Since 1955, 15th Aug and 26th January is celebrated in her family every year. After hoisting flag they sing songs in praise of beloved Bharat. She recorded one of the songs with 4 generations of her family to celebrate 75yrs of Independence.
