Director and actor Hemwant Tiwari, who put his blood and sweat to make the world’s first one shot film, the film world’s only black and white, one shot 97 minute feature film to great international acclaim, 21 The film Lomad, which has won the International Film Festival Award and has received more than 28 nominations, is now facing troubles to release in India. Yes, the first one shot black and white feature film which got so much success in Saat Samundar Par, its buyer is not only in India.

Since now that the cinema halls have opened, the producers and directors want the film to be released all India. For which the producers and directors are giving their lives, but the film is facing problems to release it on the OTT platform. Very annoyed by this, Hemwant Tiwari, the director of the film Lomar, says, “Things have changed a lot after the lock down. Now OTT people give importance to big films and big director’s projects. During the lockdown, very big directors. released their films, which changed their perspective. They are not able to test the films which have done wonders. And due to not getting the right price, those films are not able to reach OTT. We are in theatres. Are also thinking about the release, now let’s see what happens better. But I am really surprised to see today’s situation that even for such a big and beautiful film, we directors have to struggle for the release of their films. Because there is a big lobby here where you will get the right people at the right time, only then will your work be done.”

The entire movie was shot in 48 fps instead of the usual 24 fps.

Talking about Hemwant Tiwari, he has received the Best Actor (Male, Leading) award at the Accolade Global Film Competition. Talking about his inspiration, Tiwari says that ever since he saw Alfred Hitchcock’s 1948 film Rope, he always wanted to make a one-shot feature. Fox is a crime thriller feature film – the story of a casual encounter of a couple who were a couple during their college days. Hemwant says, “To make sure I could show some parts in slow motion, we shot the entire film in 48 fps instead of the usual 24 fps. The rest of the edit was done smoothly on the table.”

Even the bike had to be sold for the production of the film Fox.

The road to making this film was not that easy. Hemwant says “All my savings in the film were exhausted and I reached a point where I even had to sell my bike. However, when the person (who had bought the bike) came to know about my situation, He called me to tell me that I can use my bike and pay him later. I am lucky to have such friends.”

Director and actor Hemwant Tiwari hails from Bihar.

Hemwant Tiwari comes from the state of Bihar in India. In 2013, she entered the world of cinema with the short film ‘Zindagi Sundar Hai’, which was screened at the Cannes International Film Festival. Four years later in 2017, he traveled to Comic-Con, where his international TV series Medina was shown to an attendance of 4,000 people. Eric Roberts and Natasha Henstridge also starred in that series. His films Panaah and Salaam also received a lot of love from critics.
