Hello Riya Chaturvedi, thank you for reaching out. Like your parents most of the parents feel that their children will go abroad for good and not return. You need to, first and foremost, decide what is it that you want to do. Do you also want to go and settle abroad? Are your parents’ fear justified in anyway? If you want to settle abroad then you will need to tell them clearly and openly what it is that you want deep within. Communication is the key here as both you and your parents need to be on the same page. You also need to realise that your parents are not just scared but also worried for you. When you communicate with your parents from a space of understanding then it will be easy on both of you.
