She recently bagged the role for Star Bharats’ Sasuraal Genda Phool 2 where she is excited to be a part of the entire cast and story line. In a recent interview when spoken to Daljeet Kaur herself she said, “I will now be seen in the second season of Sasural Genda Phool in a pivotal role. We are yet to commence shooting but I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally face the camera again, to be back on the sets as an actor. I was recently shooting for my short films but the high of returning to the sets of a show is something else.”
While acting is a passion, Daljeet admits that it’s a profession that comes with its own set of challenges, she further said, “Pandemic had been quite the same for us actors like it was for everyone else. I realized I had to sustain and I could not have done that with just acting. It is a job that can never be predictable. One has to branch out. I had a flair for writing so I took to it as a stressbuster and in no time had some scripts ready. If not for this, I am sure it would be something else. I think it is important to pursue at least a passion of yours which can be monetized as a backup plan.”
