I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, blending traditional methods with mindfulness and acceptance techniques to foster resilience and personal growth.

How Was the Start

My journey into the world of therapy began with a deep-seated passion for understanding human behaviour and a desire to help others. I started my career in psychology, drawn to the intricate workings of the mind and the profound impact mental health has on every aspect of life. Early on, I realized the importance of an integrative approach, combining various therapeutic modalities to address the unique needs of each individual.

Your Journey

The path to becoming an integrative therapist has been both challenging and rewarding. After completing my formal education, I pursued advanced training both domestically and internationally in CBT, MBSR, and ACT. I began my practice in a small setup, gradually building my expertise and reputation. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with diverse clients, each bringing their own set of experiences and challenges. This journey has taught me the value of empathy, patience, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge.

What You Like Most About Your Profession

What I cherish most about my profession is the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Seeing clients progress, overcome their struggles, and achieve their personal goals is incredibly fulfilling. The therapeutic relationship is a powerful and transformative experience, and being a part of someone’s journey towards healing and self-discovery is a privilege I deeply value.

Challenges You Faced in Your Journey

Like any profession, the field of therapy comes with its own set of challenges. One of the most significant hurdles has been staying current with the latest research and techniques while managing a busy practice. Balancing the emotional demands of the job with self-care is also crucial. Additionally, the initial years of establishing a practice were challenging, as it required building trust and credibility within the community.

How Do You Manage the Professions Together?

Managing the various aspects of my profession requires careful planning and a commitment to self-discipline. I prioritize my tasks, set realistic goals, and maintain a structured schedule. Delegation and seeking support when needed are also key strategies. Importantly, I ensure to carve out time for self-care, which helps me stay grounded and effective in my work.

Your Message for Readers

To anyone reading this, I want to emphasize the importance of taking care of your mental health. It’s okay to seek help and talk about your struggles. Remember that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth, and it’s never too late to start. Be kind to yourself, stay curious, and embrace the process of healing. Your well-being is worth the effort, and small steps can lead to significant changes.

What Is Your Source of Inspiration

My inspiration comes from multiple sources. Firstly, my clients themselves inspire me with their resilience and determination to improve their lives.
