How was the Start?

The start of my career began right after I graduated from North Bengal University from small town Cooch Behar. I landed to my first role at ICICI Bank in a Metro City Kolkata, which was an exciting yet daunting experience. I was eager to apply my skills but quickly realized how much there was to learn on the job.

CHALLENGES YOU FACED IN YOUR JOURNEY ?

One of the main challenges I encountered was adjusting with the lifestyle and Environment of big City like Kolkata. Specifically, Communicating in Professional Culture was a remarkable Challenge. At first, it was a steep learning curve, but I tackled it by like observing surrounding, seeking guidance from well-wishers and friends. My surviving story based on my focus and persistence at work.

YOUR JOURNEY

My journey of career was not very smooth due to changes of the location India and abroad and mid-career break for my kid.

A notable achievement was that I was able to continue my career successfully despite of having enormous obstacles in personal and professional life.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOSTLY ABOUT YOUR PROFESSION

I find it incredibly rewarding to understand each client’s unique financial situation and work closely with them to develop personalized strategies. It’s gratifying to see the positive impact of our financial planning on their lives, whether it’s helping them save for retirement, achieve their investment goals, or navigate complex financial decisions.”

WHAT IS YOUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION

My source of inspiration for becoming a financially independent woman comes from several key influences throughout my life.

Firstly, my mother has always been a significant role model. Watching her manage our household finances meticulously while balancing a career taught me the importance of financial literacy and independence. She instilled in me the belief that being financially independent provides not only security but also the freedom
