Robbers took Rs 500 from journalist through Google Pay. Case registered

You might have heard different stories of robbery, but even the police were surprised to hear that such a robbery took place last night in Andheri area of โ€‹โ€‹Mumbai. According to the police, a rickshaw driver and one of his associates looted Rs 800 from a film journalist in D N Nagar area last night at around 1 am.

Police said that the victim journalist boarded a rickshaw from Tulip Star Hotel in Juhu to go back to his home in Oshiwara after Garba. The rickshaw driver also made one of his friends sit in the rickshaw to drop him. After some time, when the rickshaw reached D N Nagar area, the journalist was threatened by both of them and snatched Rs 300 from the journalist. Not only this, after that the accused started demanding more money. Then the journalist said that I do not have any more money, then the accused said to do it on Google Pay. After that the journalist paid Rs 500 to the accused on Google Pay.

On the complaint of the journalist, DN Nagar police have registered a case and the police have blocked the bank account of the accused and are searching for the accused.
